  1. iPhone 2 is stunning! The vignetted color, warms and cools, (my favorite colors)under the raindrop effect is mesmerizing. I’m reminded of the Lumiere brother’s first attempts at color photogtraphy, at the turn of the last century. This is your masterpiece!! Can’t wait to see #3.

      • They invented the “Autochrome” process. Two sheets of glass, (one with colored dots, one with b&w emulsion) were exposed, developed, and combined to form a glass color transparency. This was viewed in a lightbox. All of this took place in the earlyt 1900’s. There are people still making plates, and using the process.

  2. Beautiful. What I like about your work is that you manage to get not just a single amazing image but a whole set which work so well together.

  3. What is it that you run these photos through to get the effects you get? I just love the look of the photos. They are really wonderful works of art.

    • I use Hipstamatic almost exclusively, then Snapseedโ€ฆ sometimes I run the pics through PhotoToaster.
This set was run through ScratchCam.
I often end up fine tuning in Photoshop.

  4. Barbara these are some beautiful images. Don’t you just love what we can do with camera phone and apps? I really like the first shot and treatment. I find the camera/app is a great tool for quick work and instant posting.

  5. Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while. I had a great time โ€” really enjoyed Mt. Diablo โ€” and tried to leave my campsite as clean as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
